I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. Found that by manually spinning agitator one direction it seemed free, but spinning counterclockwise it seemed to stick a little. After the part arrives, I was double check to make sure I got the right part. Importantly, unplug the electrical power first before do anything, also turn off the water hose for safety. Then removed 4 screw out side panel and 2 screw in side to get lose. After all, replaced a new part and put all panel and screw back together.
