Spring component that provides tension for the freezer door handle mechanism. Replace if spring is broken, missing, or no longer holding proper tension.
I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. Center cap covers the middle hinge on French door refrigerator mullions. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing caps for a clean finished look.
In order it SHOULD be done: Pried off two white caps covering the screws that attach the flap to the left door, then removed screws. Lifted flap up to remove from door and disconnected cable. Used a thin blade to pry out the inner cover of the flap, then carefully pried out the insulation piece inside. Loosened the screw holding the center cap from the inside and removed cap.
