This is a lid that covers the drain pump housing inside the dishwasher sump area. It seals the drain pump to ensure proper water flow during the drain cycle. Replace this lid if it is cracked, warped, or missing, which can cause water leaks, poor draining, or unusual noises during operation.

Ordered replacement drain hose, left hand panel of dishwasher removed (remove 2 screws in front left trim panel & friction fit clip at top back then slide up & off.
