This is a fastener and retainer assembly that secures the blower wheel to the motor shaft inside a dryer. It keeps the blower wheel firmly in place so it can properly circulate hot air through the drum and out the exhaust vent. I started by watching the video and it was very helpful. I would make one suggestion. On our model the weights on the tub sit very close to the front gasket. It is much easier to put the gasket on the tub before you put the weights on. Also, since the washer was tore apart, I replaced the hoses and seals and shocks since the machine is about 8 years old.
