1. I unplugged the washer from outlet 2. I turned off the hot and cold water taps going to the washer (both just in case) 3. The hot inlet valve was dripping water, replaced it. Water and soap were coming out of the vent pipe. The new Float assembly had a shorter shaft than the old Float Assembly I was replacing. Washer won't spin or makes grinding noises? The motor rotor bolt secures the rotor to the motor shaft. Requires a 17mm socket for installation.
