Fix a burned-out clock display or unresponsive temperature controls with this oven electronic control board. Restores heating and timer functions.

This is an electronic control board that mounts inside the range and manages oven functions such as temperature regulation, bake and broil cycles, and display operation. It receives input from the touchpad or control panel and sends signals to heating elements and other components. Replace this board if the oven fails to heat, displays error codes, has an unresponsive control panel, or behaves erratically during cooking cycles.
So initial thought was bad bake igniter. I'bve replaced this before so I replaced it again and it wouldn't glow. Checked broil igniter and same thing, no glow. Checked voltage at molex connector for bake igniter and it went from 6.6v to 3.4v when triggered to glow -- well below the 120v expected. Ordered new clock/controller and overlay -- it shipped the next business day! Removed a handful of screws from the back panel to expose the clock/controller and removed/ replaced it with new... Fix a refrigerator that won't cool, cycles on and off quickly, or has a non-working ice maker with this electronic control board. Manages temps and defrost.
I don’t think I needed the capacitor and relay, but while I was at it I figured I would. Originally we found we had an issue when water cane out of the ice maker. The freezer was hovering around freezing and the refrigerator was about 33 deg. I unplugged the refrigerator and it came back on and ran about a day. The next night, same thing. This time cycling power did not seem to help. Removing the rear cover where the control board was and moving it around allowed it to turn on next time I... Read more
Dishwasher won't start, stops mid-cycle, or won't advance? Replace the main control board to restore proper cycle operation. Moderate DIY repair.
Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). Since I was changing the Module, I just removed the 1 screw that held it in place and it gave me some more room to get my hands in there and remove all the wiring freeing up the board to remove the touch pad ribbon last (I didn't want to tear it because I was not replacing it and after 9... Fix freezer icing and warm fridge temps by replacing a faulty defrost timer. Typical DIY repair takes 15-30 minutes with basic tools and a multimeter.
I took the bottom tray out of the freezer and found the coils iced up severely. I was reasonably sure the defrost timer was the problem and your tech said that was a good possibility. Ordered and replaced timer. (15 minutes) Problem fixed!!! Saved purchasing a new fridge at big bucks. We live over 40 miles from a service center so the cost of having a tech come out is astronomical. Thanks!!! Read more

This noise filter assembly is an electronic component that suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by the washing machine's motor and control circuits. It helps prevent electrical noise from feeding back into your household wiring. Replace this part if your washer fails to start, shuts off unexpectedly, or causes interference with nearby electronics.
Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. All the information I found on the website really made this a easy job to get done. Read more
Fix a dryer that won't advance, runs continuously, or stops unexpectedly. This timer controls cycle progression and power routing. 15-minute DIY repair.
Just as the folks in the comments section said, I tested everything to make sure the timer had power which it did. I then tested with the OHM tester and saw that the switch was open when the timer was set to any drying cycle. So i changed the timer and voila! timer is functioning again. It was a very easy fix. Just pop the four screws out of the back of my timer panel on the dryer, detach all the wires, lift up on the little bracket that is holding the timer in place and twist it, and it... Read more
This is the central control unit (CCU) that manages all of the washer's functions, including cycle selection, water fill, drum speed, and drain operations. It is a circuit board typically mounted inside the machine's control housing. Replace this board if the washer displays error codes, fails to start, stops mid-cycle, or if buttons and cycle selections are unresponsive.
After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. A cell phone was used to photograph the wiring layout and connectors plugged into the CCU, and then all connectors and the harness were carefully removed from the CCU without incident. Attempting to remove the old CCU, the plastic retaining clips built into the old CCU housing broke... Read more
