This timer controls the duration of each drying cycle by advancing through timed and automatic dry settings and signaling the dryer to stop when the cycle is complete. It mounts behind the control panel and connects to the timer knob on the front of the dryer. Not having any local Thermador support I took the advise from KC on the repair forum. The repair consisted of removing and replacing the control and relay board. The hardest part of the job was working behind the stove while it was pulled from the wall. ( didn't want to scratch my floor ).
