ORDERED NEW SUMP AND DIVERTER MOTOR, THE SHAFT ON THE DIVERTER MOTOR FELT A LITTLE ROUGH SO I WENT AHEAD AND REPLACED IT, THE SUMP REPLACEMENT WENT FAIRLY EASY. HAD TO MAKE A TRIP TO THE HARDWARE STORE FOR A HOSE CLAMP. ONE HOSE ON THE SUMP HAS A CLAMP THAT IS NOT REUSEABLE. YOU SHOULD ALSO ORDER THIS CLAMP. IT IS NARROW AND A REGULAR HOSE CLAMP WILL NOT WORK. Read more

Obtained a replacement hose from App Parts Pros. Was actually an easy fix. The old hose is detached from the housing by just pulling it out(there are no clamps) with the assist of a screwdriver for leverage. The new hose then plugs in. Voila! Read more

Removed two securing screws from side of dishwasher. Pulled out of cabinet careful to not over extend supply/drain/electric connections. Layed unit on side, removed two clamps from each end of drain pump as well as one electrical connection, removed bad pump, replaced connections and clamps, electrical connection. Ran a cycle while out of cabinet to ensure no leaks, replaced unit and screwed back into cabinet. Whole thing took 20 minutes. Read more

We pulled the dishwasher out, took it to the garage and set it up on sawhorses and planks so we could access the bottom. We plugged it in and filled it with water and ran a quick cycle. As soon as the circulation pump kicked on water came spraying out from the rubber boot in the diverter assembly. It appears that there was a factory defect in the hose. Unfortunately, the water got into the pump motor over a few loads and was eroding the brushes on the motor. We decided to replace it as well.... Read more

Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry. So, Saturday, the washer wouldn't drain, yes, I tried the Drain/Spin cycle. So I took the clothes out, rinsed them out twice in the laundry sink and dried them. Pulling the dishwasher, it was obvious we had a slow leak under it. We had a slow leak from the diverter motor area in the sump. Sure enough, it looked like the gasket around a shaft had to be the culprit. The gasket was attached to the sump assembly, or the motor. Dishwasher died after 1 year and two weeks after purchase! The Bosch tech arrived and recommended replacing the drain pump (as well as cleaning the filter in vinegar). I found a video, by another parts vendor, that showed in detail how to dismantle and repair the washer. I wouldn't have known how to even get to the problem without that repair video. Dismantling the washer was easy once I knew how, but would have been like a (litteral) Chinese puzzle without the video.
