The Water Inlet is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This component controls the flow of water into the dishwasher during the wash and rinse cycles. It ensures that the appliance receives the appropriate amount of water necessary for optimal cleaning performance.
Causes of a bad water inlet can include mineral buildup from hard water, wear and tear from regular use, or electrical issues that prevent the valve from opening or closing properly.
Symptoms of a bad water inlet include:
- Dishwasher not filling with water or filling slowly
- Water leaking from the inlet valve area
- The dishwasher failing to start or complete cycles
- Error codes related to water intake issues
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
