My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). This is a relatively easy repair. Here are detailed instruction to replace the Control Panel. Tools Required: #15 and #20 Torx drivers. (Power tools not recommended) THE INNER SHELL DOES NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY REMOVED There are 10 perimeter screws that secure the inner shell (#15) to the outer shell and six screws, three on each side (#20). Well, after searching for a model number on the range, had to pull the existing module for the part number. Ordered and was shocked to see it arrive the very next day (no, didn't pay for next day). Went back together a lot quicker then me taking apart! Read more

I replaced the control board. Repair company wanted $395.00. I ordered the board for 140ish, 5 days later, 9 screws, 6 moduler plugs....working oven. The hardest part was pulling out the stove. Read more

I installed a new clock timer and overlay the job took only a few minutes and a very easy repair. Useful hint take a picture of your clock timer before you start to make sure all your wires are put back in the right order . Charles B Lafayette Tn Read more

Ordered a new Faceplate Graphics, removed old faceplate and installed new. Required removing control panel with switches and display, including 10 screws to get to the faceplate. Faceplate has glue on rim, so had to peel off old faceplate, remove residue, then put on new. Not difficult, but reaching to remove the screws was a little challenging in a small kitchen. After reading online I decided to attempt installing the control panel. For this particular model, I removed 4 screws at top inside (2 center are longer fyi). There is one more holding the panel in the center, but the front door panel needs to be removed. There are screws all along the inside. Remove those and slide the door panel up and out. It arrived in about a week and I installed it the same day. It was a very easy install with the exception of the wiring harnesses didn’t match so I had to splice the wires together. I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. I have never done any repairs on an appliance, but YouTube had great videos of someone changing out that particular part. I could have ordered the part for less through an appliance supply store locally, but they did not offer any return option on electronics. Looked for solution on YouTube, found the possible solution. Looked up part number on AppliancePartsPros. Ordered it came in two days. Took of back, removed old board. Put in new board. plugged it in. Put back together. Worked fine. 1 hour start to finish. Cost was at least 2/3rds less than a new gas range. Read more

The oven control panel went in easily -- 4 screws to get access to it and four more to replace it. the panel does not include the face plate surface, but the existing plate can be removed from the control panel using a butter knife and re-used on the new panel. it holds on to enough of the stickiness.
