Control panel assembly for ranges. Houses display and user interface buttons. Replace when buttons wear out, stop responding, or panel is cracked or damaged.
It was very easy. First, researched the problem online and found a great video on YouTube which clearly showed the same problems we were having. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the new Front Control Panel for about $230 along with a new oven door gasket for about $20 (YouTube video talks about how heat escapes quite easily and it is best to replace the gasket often). To replace the control panel you have to remove 2 side screws (1 on each side likely hidden by the counter) and 4... Read more
Control panel assembly for your range. Houses display, touch pad buttons, and knob openings. Replace if buttons are worn, unresponsive, or panel is cracked.
My 15 year old son and I examined the new parts and made a plan for how we were going to take the front off of the oven. Turns out it was fairly simple. We removed the knobs, the knob shrouds, two philip screws on the side of the head and about 6, 6mm hex sheet screws. Voila! It came apart. We carefully looked at how the old parts were assembled and simply reversed the assembly with the new parts. Since one of our parts was the entire front head, it went together quickly and it was a perfect... Read more

Got on your web site, put in the model number and bingo a list of common problems was displayed. Clicked on the start button problem link and up came the suggested part. Your web site said that you had the part that I needed so next I clicked on the video that demonstrated how to replace the part. Ordered the part and selected next day air delivery. The next day the part arrived before 10:30am. Thirty minutes after opening the box, my GE Monogram Dishwashing was running like a Swiss... Read more
This is the front control panel for the appliance's console. It houses the user interface and protects the electronic controls, restoring a clean look and proper button/selector operation when the original panel is damaged or worn.
Based on feedback found on the internet, I knew it was either the control panel or control board. Ordered both and it turns out I only needed to replace the control panel. Really easy fix. Turned off the power, unscrewed the top 6 screws to open up the control panel. Removed the cover and disconnected the ribbon cable. Took off the latch assembly and control panel by gently pushing in the plastic tabs. Attached the new control panel by snapping everything back in place, reconnecting the... Read more

To replace the stove touch control panel was easy. From the rear of the stove, remove the cover for the heating element / lock actuator (left side, 2 screws), remove the upper panel (8 perimeter screws & 4 centerline screws). From the control panel, remove the 14 connectors. To remove the ribbon cable pull connector retainer (about 1/8"), pull ribbon cable out of retainer. On the front of the stove, bottom of the face, remove the two screws that retain the control panel (outer most screw on... Read more

Dishwasher won't advance cycles or shows flashing lights? The main control board manages cycle timing and water levels. Moderate DIY repair with power off.
Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. I, however, was able to get by with just the ECS sensor replacement, which is known to be a faulty design by Samsung, supposedly. The idea is replace the (1) most common... Read more
Replace your dishwasher's front control keypad when buttons are worn, cracked, or the interface is damaged. Adhesive-backed assembly restores control panel.
Opened up door panel, unplugged ribbon cable from old keypad and plugged in new keypad without installing just to verify keypad was the problem. Start button on new keypad worked so I then removed old keypad which is basically just like peeling off a sticker. Next step was to remove leftover adhesive using solvent. This was most time consuming step of the repair. Once adhesive was removed I cleaned the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure new keypad would adhere. I then passed ribbon... Read more
Replaces the front user interface touch pad on your dishwasher. Needed when buttons are unresponsive, panel is cracked, or touch controls are worn or damaged.
We replaced the thermal fuse as recommended by Appliance Parts Pros as 59% the problem and since it was only a $20 part we decided it was worth changing. We also replaced the touch pad /control panel for $160 (not the entire control component). We also discovered once the dishwasher was apart that the door latch was broken. I had not ordered a new door latch so we able to use Gorilla Glue to repair the door latch. After these repairs the dishwasher is working again but we are not sure which of... Read more
