Dryer was humming when pushing start button Chris K. • N. Wildwood , NJ • May 28, 2017
Removed front of dryer panel, removed top, and removed drum. Replaced motor and wheel, because the old wheel was rusted on the motor shaft, and could not be removed, so I had to break it off. Replaced motor, and reassembled. Everything works now. I also replace the switch-Pb, because the start button was getting stuck.

I replaced the old control panel with a new one. I also changed out the door seal to help prevent the control panel from going bad a second time. It was the heat from the oven getting to the keypad on the control panel that caused it to go bad.

Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WX5X1325
This spanner wrench is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used to remove the agitator nut on washing machines. The agitator nut's size and shape make it difficult to access and remove with standard household tools. The spanner wrench is designed with greater torque just for this purpose. If the washing machine's agitator is not working properly or if parts behind it need to be repaired, this wrench makes it easier to remove the nut and then take the agitator out.To use the spanner wrench, slide the center hole over the nut and turn. The hole's location makes turning the spanner wrench simple because it has handles on both sides of the hole and slides over the nut, not around it like many wrenches. Once the agitator has been removed and put back in place, the spanner wrench should be labeled and stored where it is easily accessible for future use. This spanner wrench is made of high-strength black metal and is sold individually. It is designed for use on the agitator nut of washing machines manufactured by General Electric and Hotpoint.

This is a screw and flat washer set used to secure the drum baffles (lifters) inside a dryer drum. The baffles tumble clothing during the drying cycle, and these fasteners keep them firmly attached. Burners were leaking gas igniters didn't work Christine B. • Meredith , NH • February 13, 2016
I removed the burners, which were rusted and needed some tapping. They were pretty stubborn to remove from the insert. I removed the spark igniters, which were rusted where they screwed into the burner and then removed the venturi tubes.. Once this was done, I installed the new igniters to the underside of the new burner. I then installed the burners, which only took simple placement and a quarter turn to lock them in. I then hooked up the igniter wire to the new spark igniters. The repair...
