• Fridge too warm

Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts. Read more

After checking other reviews, we decided it was best to replace the interlocks, cam and all three switches. You're going to need a phillips screwdriver, star driver, small screwdriver and needle nose pliers. You need to remove the ONE Phillips screw above the control panel inside the vent. The contol panel is on hinges that you can slide up and towards you. Using caution remove the wires noting how they're connected. Pinch the top of the white connectors and wiggle them free. After removing the top rear access panel, I took as-built photographs of the two components to be replaced showing all wires, connectors and screws! The Energy Regulator for the front left burner was replaced first, noting the orientation before pulling off the knob, and removing the retaining screws. I used long nose pliers to gently remove one lead at a time and reconnect to the new regulator. Checked orientation against the photo, reinstalled regulator and knob. Main PCB Assembly was... Check fan operation and was OK. Everything else worked except when microwave was started for a cycle. I looked around on internet and found someone had trouble with the door switches. I started to check door switches and found one shorted. I replaced both lower door switches and it took care of problem. Read more

Removed and replaced 3 door switches and mounting bar that holds switches plastic gets brittle with age and each switch comes out slightly different from each other, the chances of breaking a mounting pin is very easy. care should be taken when snapping mounting bar back into place to insure top latch and bottom latch locate properly insure bar is proper aligned when tightening screws their is free play in mounting bracket that could affect door properly engaging switches. The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. I would clear the tub by pushing a) Power b) set spin to None c) push Start. That would empty the tub. REPAIR SOLUTION: That did not solve the problem. Looked up my model number, went to top control panel section, ordered the Start Switch. In ONE DAY I received it. Removed the back part of my dryer. Easily removed the broken part. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Thanking APP ahead of time for expedient 1 day express parts & videos! I kept a LOG on this repair fix starting 6/21/20: started with cleaning out behind the Frigidaire /coils, fan blade, floor, walls, toe-plate, compressor. #1 Replaced just the Run Capacitor [from my local appl store].
