This phase control board is the power module that drives designated surface elements on compatible cooktops. It regulates power and communicates with the main control to deliver steady heat, restoring proper heating performance when the original module fails. What it does:
I replaced the Board-Phas and speed control plate since power was not making it to the motor. When I received the speed control plate it had nuts on the upper screws with springs, since my old one didn't have nuts I assumed that the nuts were to keep the springs on until installed. After putting it back together, I noticed that though it worked, the first two settings did nothing. Now, guys, I was desperate, OK. I downloaded the service manual and read it from front to back, and when I got to... Read more

Thin keypad membrane behind your range control console. Replace when buttons stop responding, register intermittently, or the pad is cracked or worn.
Replacing the switch membrane restored full function. Relatively easy. Had to pull stove out just a few inches to provide access to two side screws holding control enclosure. Then four screws on bottom edge just above oven door. Then a screw above each burner control. And one screw on the top edge at each corner (right screw additionally holding a ground wire). That allowed the structure to come out. Helper required to hold structure while I worked to unplug the old switch-membrane from... Read more
Replacement touchpad control panel for your dishwasher. Installs on the front door exterior. Needed when buttons are unresponsive, cracked, or worn.
After reading online I decided to attempt installing the control panel. For this particular model, I removed 4 screws at top inside (2 center are longer fyi). There is one more holding the panel in the center, but the front door panel needs to be removed. There are screws all along the inside. Remove those and slide the door panel up and out. Next, remove the last screw and then unplug the wire connector. Replace in reverse order. I did not kill the power to the unit while replacing. It however... Read more

Replaces worn, cracked, or unresponsive oven control panel touch pad. Installs on the front control display where buttons are pressed to operate functions.
I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. I have never done any repairs on an appliance, but YouTube had great videos of someone changing out that particular part. I could have ordered the part for less through an appliance supply store locally, but they did not offer any return option on electronics. I ordered through Appliance Parts Pros and they were very prompt in their delivery. I am thrilled to say... Read more

Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). Since I was changing the Module, I just removed the 1 screw that held it in place and it gave me some more room to get my hands in there and remove all the wiring freeing up the board to remove the touch pad ribbon last (I didn't want to tear it because I was not replacing it and after 9...
