Water Level Switch Pressure Switch
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10337781

The Water Level Switch is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool washing machines. It monitors and controls the amount of water that fills the drum during each wash cycle. By ensuring the appropriate water level, it aids in the efficient and effective cleaning of laundry while conserving water.

Symptoms of a bad Water Level Switch include:

  • The washing machine overfilling or underfilling with water
  • Inconsistent or erratic water levels during cycles
  • The machine failed to progress from filling water to the wash cycle
  • Error codes or indicators related to water levels or filling

Causes for a malfunctioning Water Level Switch can include electrical issues affecting signal transmission, mechanical failures within the switch, or blockages in the pressure hose connected to the switch.

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Freezer would not start   Thomas C. • Oxford , GA • October 03, 2014

Looked for obvious signs of mal-function, burned wires, etc. I found that the compressor controller(attached to the compressor) had an obvious burned-out spot. I received the parts at 1 PM EST; by 1:48 PM I had the freezer working. Easily saved $250.00. A nice aside was that an Internet competitor was asking $53.00 for the same... Read more
