Converting your dryer from natural gas to propane? This LP conversion kit includes the orifice and components needed. Moderate difficulty repair.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Natural gas to lp conversion for new dryer   David W. • Cottondale , FL • November 30, 2015

Ordered conversion kit from Appliance Parts Pros.com and installed it myself. Most difficult part of the repair, was the removal of the front casing of the dryer to access the location of venturi tube to be changed out. The instructions were helpful, but not specific enough for my dryer. Once the casing was off, the job was not too difficult - you will need a set of short screwdrivers to remove the burner flange and close the pressure adjustment screw, normal length screw drivers will come into... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Gas dryer would run but no heat   Roger M. • Fabius , NY • September 03, 2016

I checked out a few youtube videos on trouble shooting a gas dryer that would not heat, like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8j6fQM3P34. Eliminated all the sensors as possible problems, leaving only the coils or more advanced problems. Took the chance it was one of the coils. I ordered both, replaced them both, put the dryer back together and fortunately that was the problem and it lit up and is running as good as new. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Whirlpool duet showing an f20 code   Cheryl T. • Chino Hills , CA • January 28, 2017

The F20 code was low/no water pressure code. I watched a YouTube video and purchased a Water Inlet Valve from Appliance Pros. After my son installed the new part my washer still didn't work. I looked on Google for trouble shooting and the 1st thing it said was turn on both hot/cold water as the washer needs the pressure of the hot/cold water. I had turned off the hot valve because it was leaking. I assumed I could still do cold water loads. Read more

Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve
Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 140137975102

This triple-solenoid water inlet valve controls water flow to the ice maker and water dispenser in Frigidaire and Electrolux side-by-side and French door refrigerators. If the ice maker has stopped producing ice, water is leaking from the back of the refrigerator, or the dispenser has low or no water flow, a failed water inlet valve is a common cause. The valve requires at least 20 psi of water pressure to close properly - if pressure is adequate and the valve still leaks or fails to supply water, the valve itself is likely defective and should be replaced. Disconnect water supply and unplug the refrigerator before installation. Note the positions of the color-coded water lines before removing the old valve, and confirm all push-connect fittings are fully seated with retention clips in place after installing the new one.

By: Bosch
Part Number: 00422244

The Cold Water Inlet Valve is an OEM part for Bosch washing machines. It is designed to regulate the flow of cold water into the washing machine during the wash cycle. This valve operates based on signals from the washing machine's control board, ensuring the right amount of cold water is provided.

Causes of a faulty cold water inlet valve can include wear and tear over time, clogs or blockages in the valve, electrical issues, or valve failure.

Symptoms of a bad cold water inlet valve may include:

  • Insufficient or no cold water flow into the washing machine
  • Leaking or dripping water from the valve during the wash cycle
  • Inconsistent or inadequate water supply for washing clothes
  • Error codes related to water supply or filling

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

Note: For the Hot Water Valve, order part number 00422245.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Leaking washer (bosch 10 years old) and found out that was a cracked cold water inlet valve once i investigated where leak was coming from   F Gloria S. • Southampton , NY • May 30, 2015

First - shut off water valves & unplugged electric. Second - opened up back of washer & removed top part as well. Third - turned hot & cold water back on one at a time to see where the leak was coming from...lucky for me it was the inlet valve which was right there at the back of washer. Turned water off again. Fourth - located part on internet - and found you & ordered part but not before I went to Lowe's and called local appliance part stores to see if I could find...did not...came home and... Read more

My husband fixed it, he took out the leaky valve and replaced it with the new valve, which we received in the mail from your company, which was only a short time after we ordered it. Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked. I just kept the parts for when they are needed. For those unaware, access to the ice maker is really simple. There is a latch on the backside of the... Read more
