We replaced the main circuit board and the LED started to work and the condenser fan worked, but all we had were relay clicking sounds, but no cooling. • Will not stop filling with water

I replaced the water level switch and hose. After removing the hose, I found that it was clogged, and did not allow the water level to be sensed by the switch. A test after the replacement of the parts was successful. While filling the tub, the water shut off at the small, medium, and large levels as indicated by the switch. Read more

The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. First of you need to remove front panel of the washer, using a putty knife push the tabs between the top of the machine and the front panel. Once front panel is exposed drain hose is connected to pump which is in the front of the machine,very easy to access with the front off. Remove old hose with pliers and discard ,run new hose thru outlet on the back of the machine and secure new hose to drain and secure hose to the machine, reinstall front panel of washer and that's it Read more

Motor control board was flashing 4 times, indicating that the mode shifter had an error. I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. Since the reading was infinite, that meant that the mode shifter coil or in-line thermal sensor was electrically open, i.e. bad. We followed the manufacturer's instructions about re-positioning the fan motor and installing the vent damper (easy). We constructed a duct system from the microwave to the outside of the house (challenging). We used 3.25" x 10" metal duct to start the system through the wall behind the microwave, where we added framing to reinforce a cut stud. This damper was added to the outside vent duct line as an additional block against outside air intrusion. After checking the defrost heater to confirm it was ok. I replaced the main electronic board. That wasn't it. After 1 1/2 weeks, it frosted up again. I called and talked to a tech person at APP and then ordered the air tower, defroster thermostat, and temp sensor. I installed them all and the frig works great. To access the tub seal, complete disassembly of the washer unit was involved, including removal of the dryer unit on top in order to pull out both tubs. The motor and bearings must also be removed as well from the underside of the outer tub. Read more

After researching on the internet, I decided replacing the wave guide cover would be much cheaper than replacing the microwave. Plus I couldn't even find one that worked with the existing trim kit.
