I ordered the part I was sure I needed through the Appliance Pro website. I was surprised the part arrived in just two days. FIRST UNPLUG THE OVEN.. I removed the baking racks then two screws holding the plate over the element. I then removed three screws holding the old element in place, then gently wiggle/pull the element free from the electrical connections in the back of the oven. I used Fixya as an initial source describing my problem. I got two responses which were very helpful. One that the "coils" were probably the problem. Two, that the problem could be the thermostat or a thermistor in the dryer. I verified that AC was coming from the timing control, that both the two terminal and three terminal coils,the igniter and shut off thermostat all had continuity. This was a tough fix because there were two causes to my problem - a stuck water valve and a bad ice maker. I first replaced the water valve, but that did not resolve the problem. Tested existing water valve and found that the valves were working properly. Returned the water valve - easy RMA process and no issues. Replaced the ice maker and problem solved. Read more

All you need is a nut driver. The end cap is attached to the side of the refrigerator cabinet with two long screws. Once you remove them, you should slide the end cap towards you. It will release the internal clip that holds the front of the end cap. You should then unscrew the metal slider from the end cap. Assembly of the new end cap is the reverse. You should first attach the metal slider to the new end cap. Attaching the new end cap to side of the refrigerator cabinet is a little tricky.... Read more
