Replaces a cracked, worn, or broken oven door hinge. Installs on the right side, allowing the door to open and close smoothly and securely.
I ordered both hinges (if the nylon roller was bad on the left, it was probably going to go bad on the right side as well). The web site was easy to navigate, order process simple. Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more
This is a high-amp SPDT (single pole, double throw) switch used in the oven door mechanism. It detects whether the oven door is open or closed and signals the control to enable or disable certain functions such as the oven light or broil element.
