Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Icemaker causing solid blocks of ice to form in the bin and down the walls of the freezer   Lance B. • Gallatin , TN • April 10, 2017

The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. I have a large Samsung 4 door refrigerator. One of the rear wheels broke. To replace it, you need the wheel and the shaft. To lift the refrigerator for the repair, I had my wife stand in front of it with her foot on a board that was wedged against the front wheels. I then pushed the refrigerator up from behind and slid a 3/4" piece of plywood underneath the bottom with my foot. This gives you enough space to do the repair. After removing the back cover, it's best just to knock out the broken... Read more

Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place. The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more
