My refrigerator is 13 yrs old and began to build up frost in the ice cube shoot and the water tube began to freeze up over night. The flapper door was not closing completely. All parts arrived in one box - I purchased the tub gasket, lower door gasket and lower door seal. My existing parts were visibly pretty worn out, dishwasher is 12 years old (maybe should have just bought anew one?). Bought the replacement dispenser from APPros.com (of course). The video shows a front control panel, and our dishwasher has the 'hidden' control panel on the top of the door. So here's the difference: 1) You need to take out all the screws, except the two near the latch at the top. The Sump is an OEM replacement part specific to GE-brand dishwashers. Located at the bottom of the wash chamber, the sump collects dirty water from each wash cycle.
Causes of a bad sump can include cracks that leak water or mineral buildup clogging drain components over extended use. Improper drainage prevents the machine from functioning as designed.

Insulation blanket that wraps around the dishwasher tub to reduce noise and maintain temperature. Replace if damaged, torn, missing, or contaminated.

Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished.
