This range screw is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for gas stove burners. These screws attach the ignitor to the burner. Screws may corrode and rust during everyday use. Spills and accidents on the range top may leak down to the screws and cause them to become worn. Screws are not considered part of the ignitor kit or burner kit and will need to be purchased separately. If the screws appear rusty or corroded while replacing the ignitor, it is beneficial to replace them. It is a good idea to purchase the screws at the same time as the parts are purchased so that they are available when needed. A Phillips head screwdriver is necessary to remove and replace the old screws. Make sure the power and gas are disconnected before installing the new screws. This screw is made of silver metal and is a Phillips head screw that is sold individually. Verify the number of screws needed before ordering. This screw is designed for use in gas ranges manufactured by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Inglis, Maytag, Amana, Jenn-Air, and Crosley.
Replaced old igniter. also purchased new screws for burner and igniter assembly since old screws were corroded from spilled food/fluids etc over the years. made the installation much easier. Now my front right burner lights every time with just a click or two. Very pleased. Read more
Rubber feet that attach to the bottom of cooktop grates. Replace when missing, worn, cracked, or damaged to restore stability and protect the cooktop surface.
Of course, before disassembling anything, I unplugged and turned off the gas supply. To replace the spark electrode, I removed the drip pan/surface to gain access to the burner assemblies. Next, I unscrewed (with a 1/2" open-end wrench, I think) and disconnected the gas supply tubing from the burner assembly with the cracked electrode, and then unscrewed the assembly itself from the base surface. With the assembly detached, I flipped it over and removed the screw that secured the cracked... Read more
Burners won't light or spark intermittently? This spark module controls ignition for gas burners. Moderate DIY repair, typically behind control panel.
Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. Easy repair. I ordered the part one day and it was delivered the next and that was using the least expensive delivery service. You guys are great Read more
The Range Screw is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. It is a small but essential component used to secure various parts and panels of the range. It is designed to fit securely into pre-drilled holes, holding components tightly in place.
There are a few factors that can lead to a bad Range Screw. Over time, screws may become loose or stripped due to frequent use or inadequate tightening. Accidental cross-threading or overtightening can also damage the screw or the surrounding components.
Symptoms of a bad screw may include loose or wobbly parts, rattling noises during operation, or difficulty in keeping components securely attached. This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.
Using the parts I ordered, I replaced the glass myself following the very helpful video on your web site. Read more

Burner head for gas ranges and cooktops. Distributes gas evenly to create a proper flame. Replace if cracked, damaged, or clogged with buildup.
In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. Turned to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the correct parts for reasonable price in a matter of... Read more
Fix burners that won't spark or ignite. This switch harness connects igniters to controls. Takes 1 hour with basic tools and torx driver.
I called a rpair service. The men came to the house, torn apart the stove top and advised Replacement of the wire harness. The trip charge of $100 would be deducted from a repair bill of $350, thus they needed an additional $150 for parts and $100 for labor after paying the trip charge. I bought the harness for $60, and the star bits I needed for my drill for $10. My son and I installed the new harness in about 30 minutes, which included a thorough cleanup, saving us $180. Read more
Replacement mounting screw for securing panels, brackets, covers, and trim pieces in appliances. Restores fit when hardware is missing, stripped, or lost.
I recently shattered the outer glass on my Whirlpool oven door. (Side note for lesson learned...don't swat at a fly with a broom when its on the oven door. I didnt swing hard just a love tap but thats all it took ha ha) The toughest part of the fix was removing the broken glass as it had shattered into hundreds...no thousands of pieces. Thankfully it was taped on the inside and that held some of it together. I placed the door in our garbage can and put on a pair of gloves with a scraper to... Read more

My stove is probably 15 years old and when I was removing the screws that hold the burner in place on top of the stove top, both of them broke off so I had to replace the entire assembly. APP had all the parts I needed and were helpful on the phone. However when I was attempting to loosen the gas line to the burner the tubing wouldn't release from the brass nut and the tubing twisted too much. Even though it didn't appear broken I wasn't comfortable knowing the metal was surely weakened so I... Read more
