This is a carburetor rebuild kit that includes the gaskets, diaphragms, and small components needed to restore a worn or malfunctioning engine carburetor. It is designed for small engines commonly found on lawn and garden equipment. Replace using this kit if the engine is hard to start, runs rough, surges, stalls, or if fuel is leaking from the carburetor.
Carburetor assembly for snow throwers and gas snowblowers. Installs on the engine to mix air and fuel. Replace if cracked, leaking, or corroded.
The drive V-belt, manufactured by Craftsman, is used in one- and two-stage snow blowers as well as tillers. This is a drive belt that connects the engine to the auger of the tiller or snowblower via a pulley at either end. This turns the blades of the tiller or the auger blades of the blower to expel snow. As a flexible, hardened rubber part connecting other moving parts, a V-belt is considered “replaceable,” meaning that users should expect to have to replace this part during normal use of the equipment. Signs that a drive V-belt may be going bad are a squealing sound when the blower's auger or the tiller's blades are first engaged, or if the auger is slow to engage and loses power during use. To replace the V-belt, the equipment must be secured and the spark plug caps removed. Tilt the device to reveal the location of the belt. It must detached from the engine pulley and the transmission pulley. When replacing the V-belt, before tightening the pulley, make sure all moving parts are properly aligned. This genuine OEM part is compatible with machines sold by MTD, Yard Man, Craftsman, and Yard Machine.
Drive belt transfers power from engine to wheels on self-propelled mowers and snow blowers. Replace if slipping, worn, or cracked. Verify fit by model number.
This V-belt is designed for use in snowblowers by several major manufacturers. It is used to rotate the blades in the blower and acts as the primary belt for the device. These belts are made of a rubber material, which means they can sometimes stretch out, break, or wear down. If this occurs, the V-belt needs to be replaced to ensure the snowblower continues to work at its best. The more frequently a snowblower is used, the more likely it is that a replacement V-belt will be needed. In some cases, a V-belt can wear out more quickly than expected due to faults like mechanical failures. When the belt is overly worn, it can cause the snowblower to act sluggishly since the belt can slip off of the pulley. If the belt breaks, the snowblower will no longer be able to operate. When replacing the belt, drain the fuel and remove the spark plug for a safe repair. This V-belt is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It's made for use with snowblowers by Craftsman, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Troy-Bilt, MTD, and Yard Machines. It is sold as an individual component.
Drive belt for gas snowblowers and snow throwers. Replace if you notice slipping, cracking, or loss of power during operation. Verify fit with your model.
If your snow blower won't self-propel or drive forward, a worn friction wheel assembly is often the cause. This drive system transfers power to the wheels.
Snowblower not throwing snow? A damaged auger assembly prevents snow collection and discharge. Moderately challenging repair with basic tools required.
The auger replacement was fairly straight-forward. The biggest issue was that my model is left hand threaded and therefore the threads had been stripped down over years of use. Once I got the parts the repair went smoothly. The price on Appliance Parts Pros was unbeatable for the part I was looking for. Most places online were looking to get twice as much. Read more
