Just missed having decent ice trays. The only ones I could find were either: 1. Expensive 2. Flimsy - only lasted a couple of months 3. Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet. Spark control module located on back side of stove about mid-way down on left side under a black cover that juts out. Black cover had 2 phillips head screws...removed the black cover and the spark module was right there...held on by 2 additional phillips screws. So I noticed a few months ago that the dishwasher door felt a lot heavier than it used to. Then just recently I opened it and heard something snap and the door came crashing down onto my foot! Ouch!! I ordered the parts form AppliancePartsPros.com and they arrived in a few days despite my local "go to" parts supplier saying the parts were not nationally available. I used basic tools and installed the parts. Very straight forward. Read more

The constant cooking and age of the appliance I repaired corroded the housing attachment that holds the igniter in place to the burner. Also the screws that hold the burner in place to the stove cover were also corroded which caused the burner itself to not stay in place but fall into the stove. By using a screw driver, lift up on the sides of the stove cover to pop the clips that hold it in place. Use a block of wood to hold up the stove cover.
