The fuel line assembly is a complete piece that will replace the entire fuel line in a compatible MTD engine. The fuel pickup line includes a filter and is designed to pump fuel into the carburetor when the primer bulb is activated. The filter is designed to sit in the fuel tank and the line is fed out a hole in the side and connected to the primer bulb. The filter can become clogged with debris and buildup over time and will require changing. There may also be cases when the line is damaged or leaking, and this OEM replacement fuel line assembly can replace it.
