This clutch shoe can be used as a replacement part for hedge trimmers, string trimmers, or tillers. The clutch shoes are bound together by the clutch spring through consistent tension and are integrated into the equipment's clutch system. A clutch shoe engages the clutch bell once the engine has reached a certain speed and avoids engaging the clutch bell when the engine is idling.A clutch shoe can be worn down over time or can suffer damage from puncturing, piercing, erosion of the metal material, or direct impact with a hard object thereby warping the material. If the clutch shoe is damaged, the clutch bell will be engaged even when the engine is idling. The broken or malfunctioning clutch shoes should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part immediately before using the outdoor appliance again.
