I replaced the Oven Igniter. After ensuring that it was the igniter, by turning on the stove and taking out the oven bottom. Watch if it turns red. If not, then either the wiring is faulty, or the igniter went bad. The bulb was due to a loose and broken light bulb, can't use any normal bulb, these ones are specially made to withstand the heat. Easy fix, took out the screws and disconnected the element. Make sure you unplug the oven!! replaced it with the new elements. oven is working good. Read more

I removed oven panel and found the fan blades had warped and were hitting the base that fan was mounted to.I turned off the power via circuit breaker,removed fan mounting screws,removed two wires and installed new fan.Reset breaker,oven is nice and quiet now. Read more

Replaced the oven igniter, following the general instructions on the ApplicancePartsPro.com website. It took me a little while to figure out how to get to the wiring for the igniter, as I had no access panel on the back to get to the wires. In my particular Whirlpool oven (very old model) it turned out that you have to remove the pots/pans drawer under the oven to get to the exposed wiring at the back. Determined that the LF infinite control switch contacts for the burner indicator light were stuck closed. I replaced the control as well as the knob as the knob felt loose on the control. Read more

Had to replace both switches. The hard part was getting the control panel off to get access. Only a few screws but even after getting them out, really struggled getting it off. After getting off, discovered that you need to get it lifted up before pulling it off. Read more

I removed the screws inside the oven door and the retainer rings holding the handle onto the glass. I then replaced the handle put on new retainer rings and used the new screws provided and re-attached the handle and glass to the door. Total fix time 10 minutes. I was impressed by the quick delivery of my new handle and the fact that they sent new hardware as well. My oven was only down for three and a half days , only because it happened on the weekend.
