• Ice maker not making ice

We had a sears tech come out and "inspect" our freezer - he said it was one of the 2 vales behind the fridge that needed to be replaced. I found them for 50 bucks each on amazon... but then I thought I might shop around. Then i found this kit - that has the 2 valves AND the icemaker assembly for basically the same price. I went ahead and swapped out the icemaker assembly since it didn't involve getting behind the fridge. the next morning - BOOM ice. lots of ice. amazed. and happy. Read more

Required new ice bin (container) which has busted up in pieces from the stress of trying to turn while half melted ice had it jammed, something had to give.
