Amana Wall Oven Heating Element

• Little to no heat when broiling

I wanted to get the upper oven baking element replaced; it hasn't been working for a few months. This double oven has had two other issues, there is a fan that comes on to cool the electronics panel, That fan has made excessive noise and it operates for 2-3 hours after the oven turns off. Little procrastination paid off. With only 50% capability I knew it is time to call the appliancepartspros. They shipped me parts within 3 days. It was practical to fix both at the time. All I needed was to disconnect power at range breaker box, grab a screwdriver to lift top open, a 16 inch or so piece of old 2×4 wood to keep the top top of stove lifted, so I could access heating elements from underneath. Open oven door removed 2 screws to lift up top then remove 1 screw at back of burner assy to let right side burner assy drop down to replace then remove wires be sure to write down where wires go look on bottom side for location of wire plugs new burner plugs may be located in different location mine was then install new burner assy Read more
