Laz for Model Number mlg2000aww My maytag washer won't drain all the water out the tub, and won't spin. It leaves the clothes heavy with water.
Answer Hello Laz. Make sure the door is locking and the lock light is coming on. If it is not, you will need to check the control board WP22004325 located in the top of the dryer, and see if the R-11 resistor is burnt. If so, you will need to replace the control board and the wax motor WP22002119 in the machine. If it is good, you can check the spin enable switch WP22002162 and see if it is working properly. If it is not, you will need to replace the spin enable switch. If the door is locking correctly, you will need to test the out of balance switches WP22002044 WP22003302. Make sure they have no broken wires and the switches are working correctly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
