This washer is compatible with most lawn mowers and lawn tractors. The smooth, round edges fit perfectly with 5/8-inch bolts to attach the bolts to parts on the mower, as necessary. The washer provides a buffer between the bolt and the surface that it is being attached to. They are highly recommended for protecting parts that are being fastened together.The lack of a washer can cause permanent damage to the piece that the bolt is attached to. If the bolt does not have a washer to prevent it from moving and rusting, it can cause the bolt to fail. With products such as lawn mowers, this can spell disaster for both the appliance and its handler. These washers are high-quality and will prevent excess corrosion for the bolt.
