This position-specific ice crusher blade (#1) fits inside the refrigerator's ice bucket assembly. It helps break up cubes into crushed ice; replacing a bent or worn blade restores consistent crushing and reduces jams or grinding noises during dispensing.
- Works with the auger and other numbered blades to crush ice when "Crush" is selected
- A bent, dull, or corroded blade can lead to no crushed ice, only cubes, slow dispensing, or scraping/grinding noises
- Restores even crushing and smoother auger rotation
- Position- and orientation-specific within the blade stack; match to your original
What's included: One ice crusher blade (#1 position) Install notes:
- Disconnect power and switch the ice maker OFF before servicing
- Remove and empty the ice bucket; allow any frost to thaw
- Disassemble the bucket front/auger and note the exact blade order and orientation—take photos for reference
- Wear cut-resistant gloves; reassemble blades, spacers, and washers exactly as removed and verify the auger turns freely before reinstalling
