A small replacement closure shim that helps align and secure a closure/trim piece on select appliances, restoring proper fit and reducing rattles, rubbing, or gaps for quieter, more reliable operation. What it does:
A broken cam can be bad news. The door can swing open from its own weight. I ordered a door closure kit (cams) plus shims. My fridge needs a stack of shims on the fridge door to align it vertically. The old shims had broken and pieces fell out. The lack of support may have caused the cams to fail since they sit on the shims. Found belt tension idler worn down to the bushing, found the drum rollers stiff and hard to turn, found belt worn and starting to crack. Ordered all of these plus front slide pads. Replaced and now feel confident the dryer will run without problems. Absolutely need a pair of snap-ring pliers for this job.
