The 5x20 screw is designed for use with Echo engines. This is a standard piece of hardware that has multiple applications for securing engine components and housings depending on the exact model and type of machine. The screw can become stripped or worn over time, break off due to an incident or impact, or even get lost during other repairs. In any situation, this screw will need to be replaced as quickly as possible to prevent any further damage or issues with the operation of the equipment. This genuine OEM screw will work with select models of equipment from Echo, Shindaiwa, and Little Wonder. It can be used with over 150 trimmers, edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers. This screw has multiple uses on various models so consult the parts diagram for exact location and replacement process. This screw requires a phillps head screwdriver for replacement. It is sold individually and includes the washer and lock washer to create a secure seal. Those who need additional screws will have to purchase multiple quantities.
Round head screw for hedge trimmers and lawn equipment. Replace worn, stripped, or missing screws to secure covers, handles, and components.
Ball bearing for lawn and garden equipment. Reduces friction between components and distributes weight during operation. Verify fit with your model number.
This ball bearing is located in the gear or fan case of different types of lawn equipment including edgers and trimmers. The ball bearing allows the clutch drum to rotate within the case while staying in a fixed position. With regular use, the ball bearings can wear down or seize up. Common signs the ball bearings need to be replaced are blades that won't work or a noisy gearcase. In either event, the machine will need to be taken apart and the ball bearings will require a replacement. Before beginning a replacement of the ball bearing, make sure to put on gloves and collect tools including a screwdriver, pliers, and a socket set. Emptying the fuel tank is recommended for safety. Remove locking nuts on the trimmer. Remove blade guard, washers, and tip guard. Remove screws on the gear case cover. Take apart all blades and gears. Use snap ring pliers to pull out the retaining ring and pull out the clutch drum. Internal snap ring pliers are used to remove the ball bearing drum to access the ball bearings. Remove old bearings and replace them with new ones before reassembly. This ball bearing is a genuine OEM replacement part. It can be used in various trimmers and edgers manufactured by Shindaiwa and Echo. The part is sold individually. For some repairs, two bearings may be required.
Piston rings help to maintain the pressure between the piston and cylinder wall. If the compressed gas between these two parts begins to leak out, the engine will not be able to put out enough energy, and the lawn appliance will stop working. Piston rings can wear out over time due to engine overheating or faulty ignition in the engine. A telltale sign of a burnt-out piston ring is whitish-grey smoke coming from the appliance. Extreme oil inefficiency is another sign. This part is a genuine OEM part designed for Echo or Mantis handheld yard tools such as a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, edger, pole pruner, or tiller engine. It does not ship with other parts. Any additional parts needed to install the piston ring must be ordered independently.
Engine cylinder for edgers. Replaces a worn, cracked, or damaged cylinder that affects engine performance. Direct fit for compatible edger models.
This is a cylinder head used in several types of lawn and garden equipment. The cylinder head is the component that sits on top of the engine. It is responsible for closing the combustion chamber. The gap in between the head and the engine is filled with a head gasket. The cylinder head also helps ensure that the cylinder stays properly lubricated at all times. If the cylinder head has failed, it can cause dropped engine performance, low oil levels, and smoke may come from the exhaust. If the cylinder head needs to be replaced, the grass screen and shield will need to be removed. Take the bolts out of the engine cover before removing the cover. Remove the engine shroud and the bolts that hold the pump bracket to the head. The valve cover should be removed to find the cylinder head. Take the old one out and insert the new one before reassembling the equipment. This cylinder head is a genuine OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual part. The cylinder head is compatible with hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and chipper shredders made by Shindaiwa, Mantis, and Echo.
The auto oiler assembly is a strong metal component used in a variety of chainsaws. It fits onto the worm gear and tube and offers a way to bring oil to the bar of the chainsaw. If the auto oiler assembly is broken or damaged, it may result in having no oil on the bar. This can create problems when using the chainsaw since there is no lubrication present. When this part isn't working correctly, it cannot properly ensure that the chain will make smooth cuts through wood. If the auto oiler assembly is damaged or broken, it should be replaced. Remember to remove the spark plug before starting the replacement process. A wrench set, screwdriver, and socket set will be needed to gain access to the auto oiler assembly. The clutch will need to be removed from the motor shaft and the clutch drum taken off the clutch to reach the oil pump. Replace the assembly and reassemble the other parts. This auto oiler assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part directly sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual component. This part is designed for use with chainsaws manufactured by Echo and Shindaiwa.
