Electrolux Refrigerator Parts

Previously, I removed the lower rear cardboard back of the unit and saw the crack in the defrost pan. It was probably damaged when unit was moved using appliance hand truck. I looked up the part number AP4319611 in the exploded view diagrams of the unit. The part was ordered and delivered in a few short days. Replace both (L&R) slide rails. One screw each side. The other two 'screws' were permanently fixed so I just slide the sides over the slide keyholes. Piece of cake. Read more

I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did! Discovered that the old part had broken, preventing the door from leveraging closed into the bearing valley. Metal-on-metal rubbing was also a clue. Pulled the old piece out of the hole (only the shaft remained) and popped in the new bearing. Took all of 10 minutes, and everything works great now. Read more

The online video to change the water tube from the solenoid to filter was very helpful. It made the project straightforward. I had to replace the water tank tube as well. It was more challenging because there was no video for my model refrigerator (Frigidaire French Door) but a side-by-side unit video provided enough hints. This is the second time of needing repair. I remove the ice bucket, open the crusher, remove the 5 blades. Straighten the blades, reinstall. I then order new blades, The next time it happens I will install the new blades. The reason for the malfunction, (my guess), two ice cubes partially melted stick together and the size and angel the enter crusher cause the problem. After smelling and seeing the smoke I was able to spot the defective parts. Where the run capacitor connects to the control-compressor is where it was burning. So I went to the Appliance Parts Pros website and put in the model number and the diagram of parts come up. I ordered the new parts, the control-compressor, and the run capacitor. Quick shipping. Replaced motor and new solenoid and yoke assembly, motor ran fine but Ice maker did not make Ice, water was turned on and the wire off and on latch was is the down position (on). Disconnected the water line from the Ice maker tray, ice had formed in the line while I was waiting for my parts (about 5 days), I would suggest disconnecting the water line at the feed end were your shut off valve is located and allow water to drain out of line.
