Replacing the ice maker fixed the issue. Because the ice maker was redesigned. I needed a new ice cream shelf. If your current ice maker has a power switch that is vertical, you will need a new ice cream shelf to make it fit correctly. The repair was very easy. All I had to do is loosen two screws on the ice maker mount and slide it out. Then disconnect the connector and install the new ice maker. It was probably the easiest repair I have ever done. Volt Ohmmeter test indicated defrost thermostat and heater were OK. Defrost voltage measured ~25 VAC. I ordered all the most likely repair parts, but thought the control board had failed. I replaced the control board and the freezer has been working properly for several days. I haven't decided whether to keep or return the unused parts. I damaged the paint removing the electrical control. There must be a trick to protect the paint from the putty knife and screwdriver. Read more

My 10 year old frig door was hanging down to the point it wasnt fully closing and sealing unless you picked up on it. I ordered a lower hinge bracket, upper and lower bearing, and spacer.
