Replaced motor and new solenoid and yoke assembly, motor ran fine but Ice maker did not make Ice, water was turned on and the wire off and on latch was is the down position (on). Replacing the ice maker fixed the issue. Because the ice maker was redesigned. I needed a new ice cream shelf. If your current ice maker has a power switch that is vertical, you will need a new ice cream shelf to make it fit correctly. The repair was very easy. Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam.
