Replaces cracked, shattered, or broken outer glass panel in your gas range oven door. Restores clear viewing window and maintains heat containment.

I complained to the companies customer service answering machine that this is about 40% of the cost of a new stove. The quote was unreasonably high since it appeared that a trained monkey could replace the glass in about 15 minutes. It took this trained monkey about 30 minutes to replace the glass. Because the door glass is held in place by fairly stiff springs, I had to figure out the... Read more

Broiler won't heat or heats unevenly? This upper oven broil element delivers intense top-down heat for broiling. Simple DIY repair takes under an hour.
Turned off the oven power at the breaker box. Removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the front support bracket and removed the front support bracket. (This bracket is necessary as the broiler element is in the top of the oven) Then I removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the element against the back of the oven, gently pulled the element away from the back of the oven to expose and unplug the (slip on) electrical connections, and removed the burned out element. Contrary to some home projects I... Read more

Fix noisy convection fan operation with this motor replacement. Restores quiet, even heating in your oven. Moderate DIY repair in 30-60 minutes.
I replaced it with an new motor-convection from AplliancePartsPros.com. One note of advice: the fan blade unit inside the oven is held on by being tightened counter clockwise and obviously loosened by turning the nut clockwise (lefty loosey/righty tighty does not apply here). Read more
