This is a rotary or push-type selector switch that controls the water temperature setting on the washer's control panel. It routes electrical signals to the water inlet valve to select hot, warm, or cold wash and rinse cycles. Replace this switch if the washer fills with the wrong water temperature, does not respond to temperature selections, or only fills with cold or hot water regardless of the setting.

First I unplugged the power cord for the washer. I removed the back plate of the control panel. Then removed the knob and unscrewed the screw holding the broken pressure switch. I then swapped the three electrical cables one at a time and placed on the new pressure switch. Then I put the screw in to hold the switch in place.
