Removed back of dishwasher with hex screw driver 5 min Unplugged power cord 30 secs Loosened metal bracket on top and bottom with screwdriver 5 min Pushed dispenser in and removed from dishwasher 5 min Positioned new unit in space and snapped into place 1 min Plugged electrics back in 1 min Screwed back on 3 min Roughly 20 min. After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. So we ran a cycle of vinegar and sprayed the filters and arms with lime-off-sprayed them out with a air hose "completely". Many of the small pieces of lime will clog the holes in the spray arms. Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." Removed old rollers and axels and installed new ones. Used needle nosed pliers to remove old axles and rollers and put new ones on by hand, just snapped them onto the rack frame and pushed new wheels onto the new axles. Discovered that the end caps of the metal guide that the rollers move in just rotate out on a hinge principle in order to remove the rack in order to put the new rollers on. Read more

Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem. Our Bosch suddenly quit washing the dishes properly after 15 years of faithful service. I observed that there was no pressure coming from the sprayers, and determined it to be the circulating pump. I could reach into the pump from inside the dishwasher and could feel that something was loose in there - the impeller moved when pumping, but I could stop it with my finger. I replaced both the door seal and the lower door seal. The lower seal was a bigger job and I used a number of YouTube videos to walk me through it. It was a pain, but it worked. Had I called the appliance store the following would have happened - After a week they come out and verify, yet it is leaking and they will need to come back in a week or so after ordering parts.
