This dome float is the replacement water-level float that helps the appliance sense and control the tub's water level, restoring reliable fill and shutoff behavior. Use this OEM-fit float when the original is cracked, stuck, or missing. What it does:

• Moves with rising and falling water to actuate the water-level mechanism and help prevent overfilling.
• Can reduce symptoms such as improper fill levels, continuous filling, or intermittent fill shutoff when the existing float is damaged or obstructed.
• Works as part of the washer's water sensing system—does not include electronic switches or housings unless shown.

• Disconnect power and unplug the appliance before starting any repair.
• Access may require removing the washer top or cabinet; follow your model's service instructions.
• Inspect surrounding hoses and clips; replace any damaged components and ensure the float moves freely.

This vent flapper is the exterior exhaust flap that opens to let dryer air and lint exit and closes to keep weather, pests and drafts out when the dryer is off. It restores proper airflow at the outside vent hood. What it does:

• Opens with dryer airflow to allow exhaust to escape and closes when idle to block outside air.
• Helps prevent backdrafts, pests and rain from entering the vent system.
• Can restore normal drying performance when a stuck or broken flap was restricting airflow.
• Commonly replaced when the flap is cracked, warped, jammed or does not seal.

• Disconnect power to the dryer (and gas supply if applicable) and work from the outside hood when possible.
• Remove the exterior vent hood or access cover to inspect and replace the flap; basic hand tools required.
• Check that the flap moves freely after installation and seats against its seal to prevent air leaks.
• Clean or repair the ductwork to avoid repeat failures.
