Replaced the burners caps with new. I was concerned they would not fit as the website stated "approximately 3 inches, approximately 2 inches & approximately 4 1/2 inches etc.". I examined the inner burner heads and determined that two of the most frequently used burners were warped and were not making good contact with the burner base. It's a GE Profile series stove about 10 -12 years old.
