I replaced the door boot with a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. The most difficult part was starting at the back end of the new boot onto the stationary rim, just in front of the tub. And then anchoring it in place with the existing spring from the previous boot. I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. Unscrewed the front lower panel ( 2 screws ). Disconnected the pump hose clamp and removed the hose. I loosened the lower back panel and pulled out the drained hose from the rear. Replaced with new hose put back clamp and panels. Very easy Read more

I took the easy fix first and replaced the Capacitor. That got me three loads before the motor burned out. Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. Three new vanes. Installation was easy, removed one stainless screw on each vane, slid the broken vanes toward the front of the machine, compressed the old vane slightly and came right out. They have to be slid about 1 to 2 inches forward for removal. This was an easy fix. Read more

The repair guy told me if I have him fix it I should just buy a new one. I like my washer and dryer because it's a combo and takes up little space so I decided to fix it myself. Not sure if I got lucky but appliance parts pros had a video with almost my exact washer which made repair very easy. Read more

I ordered new latch and 2 new screws ( imagine not having the screws). I put latch in place and with a phillips screw driver attached 2 screws. Tada works like new. If the owner would have just done this herself, I wouldnt have a new set of infinity front loaders for under $300. So thrilled that I can get replacement parts for my appliances. Read more
