This Electronic Control Board is the appliance's central control module. It interprets inputs from sensors and switches and directs power to motors, valves, heaters, and fans to run cycles reliably when the original board has failed.

  • Manages overall operation by processing signals and executing programmed cycles
  • Sends power/commands to components such as motors, pumps, fans, heaters, and valves
  • Typical symptoms of a failed board: no power or won't start, unresponsive controls, cycles that won't advance, intermittent shutdowns, or error codes
  • Useful when diagnostics point to control failure after ruling out fuses, switches, sensors, and wiring
What's included: 1 electronic control board Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing; turn off water supply if applicable
  • Use ESD protection and handle the board by its edges
  • Photograph/label all connectors; move harnesses one at a time and transfer any jumpers/settings from the old board if present
  • Mount securely, reconnect wiring, reassemble, then run the unit's diagnostic/self-test per the service manual

After removing and testing the continuity for the heating element, then the thermostat, I wasn't sure what to check next. I chatted online, and Susan suggested the control board was the most likely problem. I'm only somewhat handy, so I was nervous when the part didn't arrive with instructions.
