This is the door catch that secures the dryer door in the closed position during operation. It engages with the door strike or latch to keep the door firmly shut so the dryer can run. This is the blower wheel that mounts on the motor shaft inside the dryer and circulates heated air through the drum and out the exhaust vent. It draws moist air away from clothes to facilitate drying.
