Broil setting not heating? This upper oven element delivers direct radiant heat for broiling. Easy DIY fix with a screwdriver in under 30 minutes.
Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new.
