My refrigerator was not dispensing ice. I could hear the motor activating but noticed the ice auger was not turning. My old drive shaft was stripped on both ends. Upon receipt of part (in 2 days), removed right panel (snapped on). Removed ice tray. Removed one screw holding broken tray. Then removed plug from motor/solenoid. Next, moved motor/solenoid from old cracked tray to new one. All holes aligned exactly. Replaced shelf/motor in freezer, and reconnected cable from motor to freezer wall. Put one screw back in.
