• Spins slowly

With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. Since I hadn't found the Tech Sheet for the washer (which there should be one inside the top cover) I simply thought I'd buy the drive motor (and a new belt, a.k.a "cheap insurance"). Replaced upper and lower felts. Painted rubbing surface on inside of drum with refrigerator enamel. Took out drum and lubed rear bearing. Replaced 2 of the 3 thermostats, and the belt just on principle. Spent a lot of time with shop-vac removing lint from drier and exhaust ducts. Runs great and is no longer cooking or staining clothes.
