Kenmore / Sears Range Burner & Related Parts

I thought it was the burners and ordered four burners. When they arrived I thought three of them were wrong parts so I ordered three others and scheduled a return of three I had just received. I then realized it was not the burner but the diffuser plated on top of the burners. I cancelled the new order, arranged a return of the four initial burners and ordered four diffuser plated. It took a little longer then I was hoping but wasn’t terrible. If the burner is very old at all make sure to get the new screws. Both of mine snapped when trying to remove them. The new one works great. Read more

In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. I bought new parts, but in black, so that any future staining over time would not be as noticeable. I was able to find everything I needed through AppliancePartsPros.com, and even though I only paid for economy delivery (3-6 working days), I was amazed that they turned up within 24 hours of my order being submitted! After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel.
