This is a fuel tank assembly that is made to be used with several models of leaf blowers from various manufacturers. It works with handheld blowers and includes a full assembly with the fuel tank, fuel cap, and fuel lines. This component is part of the fuel system and should be replaced immediately if it is damaged or cracked as it can be dangerous to use it in that state. When replacing the fuel tank assembly, make sure the leaf blower is turned off. Disconnect the spark plug wire and drain the gas from the tank before moving forward with this project. A screwdriver is needed to make the repair and work gloves will also be useful. Take out the screws that hold the fuel tank and then remove the fuel lines. The function of an air cleaner element is to create a seal that protects the engine from collecting and taking in external dirt and debris that might debilitate the engine's infrastructure. The air cleaner element could fail from overuse; it is a part that must eventually be replaced as a part of routine maintenance, even with ordinary long-term use. If the air cleaner element is not effectively sealing, the rate at which the engine takes in air is lessened, thereby reducing the power and the fuel economy of the engine.
