This is a fuel tank assembly that is made to be used with several models of leaf blowers from various manufacturers. It works with handheld blowers and includes a full assembly with the fuel tank, fuel cap, and fuel lines. This component is part of the fuel system and should be replaced immediately if it is damaged or cracked as it can be dangerous to use it in that state. When replacing the fuel tank assembly, make sure the leaf blower is turned off. Disconnect the spark plug wire and drain the gas from the tank before moving forward with this project. A screwdriver is needed to make the repair and work gloves will also be useful. Take out the screws that hold the fuel tank and then remove the fuel lines. The new replacement fuel tank can be installed before the fuel lines are added and the cap is placed on top.This is an authentic OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. Combustion engines use carburetors to manage the amount of air and fuel entering the chamber. However, to start some combustion engines, a choke is required. This part regulates the air pressure within the intake manifold. This effectively adjustes the air and fuel levels entering the engine, and allows more fuel to reach the inside to ensure that it starts easily. The choke valve is then opened as the machine runs. The choke is installed through a grommet that ensures a good seal, but the grommet can wear out over time.
